When searching for how the internet is affecting our environment I came across 'Google Green' videos on YouTube, which then linked me to their main site, explaining all they are doing to help our environment as much as possible. Interestingly though I also came across another video, directly below, which portrays Google as being hypocritical in so many ways. This controversy has led to law suits and will no doubt be an issue over the forthcoming years.
