Summer Brief - Invention/Discovery Research: Internet - Neuroscience of Internet Addiction

It is important to have a balance and not only use the internet as a resource of information. This is because our brain will get so used to skimming and scanning information and multi-tasking online, that we will lose the ability to use other parts of our brain which are just as important.

This video has made me strongly think about the impact of the internet versus packaging design. I strongly believe that packaging is probably more controllable in terms of the affect it has on the environment. Whereas the internet is rapidly growing and in some ways, unless greener technology is rapidly produced, then it is going to continue to get worse and we will rely on it in every day life even more, meaning that we will be emitting more harmful substances into the atmosphere.
